Kevin Goyette

Kevin Goyette is a distinguished leader in finance and renewable energy, currently serving as the CEO of Rhode Island Tax Capital. With over two decades of experience in banking, project management, and debt structuring, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to innovation and excellence in the financial sector.
Before his current role, Goyette was the Director of Project Finance at Gridwealth, a distributed energy resource company. There, he was instrumental in guiding the company's project finance and debt structuring initiatives, leveraging his extensive background in banking and tax equity investment. His responsibilities included monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities for finance and tax equity investment.
Goyette's career also includes significant experience as a bank auditor, conducting independent risk, credit, and loan reviews for financial institutions. He has evaluated retail, commercial, and industrial collateral for various financial entities, providing debt structure insights that have been invaluable in project monetization roles. His expertise has been honed through positions at firms such as Chaston Associates, Cobblestone Management LLC, Liquidity Services Inc., and Hilco Appraisal Services, LLP.
Academically, Goyette holds an MBA from Nichols College and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Framingham State University. His educational background, combined with his extensive professional experience, positions him as a visionary leader in the intersection of finance and renewable energy.

President
Larry Hoey is the President of Rhode Island Tax Capital and a powerhouse in real estate-driven clean energy development across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. With a rich background in sales, relationship management, and entrepreneurship, Larry has built a career on turning connections into capital—unlocking the hidden potential of rooftops, land, and infrastructure through solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
Before co-founding Rhode Island Tax Capital, Larry served as Relationship and Sales Manager at Gridwealth, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s renewable energy reach. There, he became known for his ability to originate and close deals by aligning the needs of property owners, developers, and institutional investors—always with an eye toward maximizing financial returns through innovative energy strategies.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Larry has run successful businesses of his own and has earned the trust of the local real estate community through decades of hands-on experience and honest, solution-oriented engagement. He has a unique talent for helping real estate owners monetize unused space, turning overlooked rooftops and vacant lots into income-generating clean energy projects.
